Summer Swim Team
Our program starts in June and runs for 7-8 weeks. Practices are Monday-Friday in the mornings and meets are Tuesday & Thursday evenings starting in July. At the end of the season, we host a banquet at the pool to celebrate the swimmers!

Anyone up to 17 years old can join the team as long as they can swim one 1-length of the pool unassisted. We are part of the Beaver Valley Swim Conference and compete against other teams within our area.

Our swim team director is Meghan Aitken and our head coach will be announced soon! If you have any questions about the swim team, practices, or meets please contact either of them and they will get back to you as soon as possible!
STEPS TO REGISTER FOR SWIM TEAM
Please follow the 2-steps below to register for the 2024 swim team. After registering we recommend paying immediately either by credit card through PayPal or by mailing a check.
The registration and payment deadline for all swimmers is TBA.
Step 1: Registration Form
Please click the button below to fill out the swim team registration form. When the form is submitted you should receive an email that says you completed the form.
Step 2: Pay Swim Team Dues
Swim team dues help purchase new equipment (lane ropes, starting blocks, kickboards), purchase gifts for the kids, and pay our wonderful coaches!
Team Dues:
Cash/Check: $30.00 per child
PayPal: $32.00 per child
Cash/Check: $75.00/family (3 or more swimmers)
PayPal: $78.00/family (3 or more swimmers)
2024 Swim Team Practice & Meet Schedule
Practice Schedule:
Monday through Friday practices will begin on: TBA

Starting in July, there will be no practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays where there are meets.

Ages 10 and Under:
Practice: 9:00-10:00 AM
​
Ages 11-17:
Dryland: 9:45 AM
Practice: 10:00-11:00 AM
Swim Meet Schedule:
Swimmers should arrive at the pool at 5:00 PM for check-in and warm-ups. The meets will begin promptly at 6:30 PM.
*Swimmers who do not check-in with the coaches before 6:00 PM or notify the coaches that they will be late may forfeit their line-up spot.

Wyngate will be offering 2 sessions of group swim lessons this summer along with our regular private and semi-private lessons.

Group Lessons: Each session will cost $75 per child (+$3.00 PayPal fee if paying online)
There will be 4-6 children per group and will include 8 lessons.
Classes will be Monday-Friday with the option for two different time slots.
• Time Slot One: 11:00 - 11:30 am
• Time Slot Two: 11:30 am - 12:00 pm.

2024 Private & Semi-Private Lessons:
Private and Semi-Private lessons will be available to schedule directly with lifeguard instructors at the pool at the beginning of the season.
Wyngate lifeguards offer swim lessons all summer long! Coordinate with a lifeguard instructor directly to schedule lesson dates and times and to decide how many lessons. You may schedule a lesson to be private (1 child) or semi-private (2 children at the same time).

Private Lessons: Cost is $20 per 30-minute lesson.
Semi-Private Lessons: Cost is $30 per 30-minute lesson.
Lessons will be given during normal operating hours.
